EEA and Norway Grants (EØS-midlene) fund educational cooperation between Slovakia and Iceland, Liechtenstein and/or Norway. The projects shall contribute to enhance both the quality and relevance of education and training, mainly in the focus areas of green industry innovation, and welfare and ambient assisted living technologies. Join this matchmaking event to learn more about upcoming calls and connect with potential partners.
Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir), together with the Research Agency of Slovakia, are pleased to invite you to this digital matchmaking seminar.
The aim for the event is to connect partners in Slovakia and Iceland, Liechtenstein and/or Norway so that they might apply for project funding under the EEA and Norway Grants (EØS-midlene). Note that the call for institutional cooperation is only open for entities from Slovakia and Norway. The call for mobility and small bilateral initiatives are also open to entities from Iceland and Liechtenstein.
More information about the call can be found on Research Agency in Slovakia’s webpage.
The event is open for everyone working at universities and secondary schools (including vocational education and training) in Slovakia and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. Enterprises who may wish to participate as partners in the project may also attend.
All participants are expected to register prior to the event and no later than 22. December. Institutions participating with more than one person are encouraged to register each person individually.
Participants will get access to the digital conference platform Tappin the day before the event. The event page may be accessed from your browser. On the platform you will find the detailed program, practical information, contact details for participants and a partner search exhibition (see more information below).
In Tappin we encourage all participants to fill out information about their institution, what they are searching for and contact information for the best matchmaking experience. Note that this will be visible to the other participants and is a tool for the matchmaking to work.
Sessions will not be recorded.
Participants are invited to share a short presentation (max 5 slides) and/or video (max 3 minutes) prior to the digital matchmaking. The presentations/videos will be published on the conference platform and visible for the other participants prior to, and during the event. Participants will be able to interact with the exhibition and invite other participants to private meetings.
When registering please indicate if you would like to submit a contribution to the partner search exhibition. You will then receive more information on how to submit your contribution. We ask that contributions are submitted no later than 31. December 2021.
The power point presentation and/or video should be in English and contain the following:
Basic information about your institution and experience with international projects
Potential project ideas, ambitions for a project and/or foreseen results of the cooperation
What you are looking for in a partner, what could be the partners contribution or what could be your contribution to a project.
