Are you a newcomer to Gjør det! and would like to meet potential German partners and learn from experienced Norwegian project managers? Have you received an e-mail from Diku about funding for 2019-2020, or are you perhaps a German partner in one of these approved projects? Then we would like to invite you to our Gjør det! seminar this autumn, which will take place in Ålesund, Norway 15-17 October.
Please register by clicking the link at the top, and we will confirm your registration by September 3, at the latest. Please note that you can only register one person from each institution. If the budget allows it, we will open up for more than one.
This is a seminar where we mix established mobility projects in Gjør det! with newcomers from both Norway and Germany. The aim is to spend time on project development, networking and sharing of best practice, hopefully resulting in new partnerships and mobility projects within vocational education and training.
The seminar is financed by Diku, including hotel and meals. The participants will have to cover travel costs themselves.
The host
Diku (Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education). Diku is, amongst other things, the administrator of the Gjør det!-program as well as Erasmus+ in Norway.
Partners
For this seminar we cooperate with NA-BIBB, the German agency for Erasmus+. NA-BIBB will attend the seminar and assist the German participants regarding Erasmus+.
The second partner is Borgund Upper Secondary school who will provide us with a meeting venue.
Meeting venue
Our seminar will be held at Borgund Upper Secondary school – a provider of vocational education and training (VET) and an experienced organizer of international mobility for VET learners. Borgund is one of the largest upper secondary schools in this region with its 900 students and 225 employees. They also have a close cooperation with local companies that provide practical training for the students as well as employing apprentices.
Accommodation
We will book rooms for you at Scandic Ålesund in the city centre. The registration will take place between 17:00 on Tuesday the 15th. This is also where we will have dinner the first evening.
The rooms are paid by Diku from the 15th to the 17th. If you want additional nights before or after this, you will have to arrange this directly with the hotel.
Travelling to Ålesund
Travelling from Germany you will most likely need one stopover. If possible, we recommend that you try to make this in Copenhagen, Denmark, rather than Oslo or Bergen. This makes it easier with luggage and security check.
